I hate entune so much that I purchased one for my Tacoma but in 10.5 screen size. The kit comes with a gps antenna but I purchased a idatalink adapter along with an rf adapter so I was able to use my factory gps antenna. Someone does make a $60? harness on TW but this will just add to the cost. So far the downside is that I have to use an aftermarket mic since the OEM mic is amplified. You do not need anytime camera/germes lab unless you want to switch to rear view without putting the car into reverse. I also tested out a front camera and there is a function on the head unit to view the front camera while driving.
OEM camera are 400圆00? HD camera are 1080P. The only downfall is that OEM camera is not HD so it will look grainy on the screen due to being stretched. Also the OEM rearview camera will also work along with the sensors if you have them like my Tacoma. I don't even use carplay because all the feature it has, i don't need to mirror my phone.

**I forgot to mention it also have carplay and android auto. What ever you can download off Play store is what you can use.
#THE PIONEER CONTROL APP SUCKS PLUS#
I can watch movies, use whatever navi app i choose plus many more. The unit also takes a sim card or you can tether off your phone for internet. It comes with a silver dash kit mounted with the head unit but I replaced it with a Metra dash kit that had a similar paint match to my graphite black interior. The 11.6 unit is plug and play everything and retains all the steering wheel functions. I was tired of the famous reboot for no reason. I have no experience with the T9 assuming it's the same idea that it's android based. After a little tweaking I have no complaints about sound.I installed this android auto head unit that is very similar to the T9 by Cartrimhome. I have an upgraded OEM system, which is really the limitation on sound quality in my vehicle, compared to a good aftermarket system. Sound quality seems normal for something in this price. Every other head unit I've owned could take firmware without having to access the back.

Guess what you have to do to install firmware? REMOVE THE RADIO so you can get to the port on the back.
#THE PIONEER CONTROL APP SUCKS UPGRADE#
I neglected to check for a firmware upgrade before putting the dash back together. There are a variety of options for colors of the buttons and the backgrounds. The buttons are also a good size and easy to press. Touch is more responsive than most other radios and seems quite accurate. But it's a little bit too white/light, and.get this.there's no way to adjust it! You can adjust the camera/video display, but not the menus and control displays.
The touchscreen works very well, and the display is nice. I like to switch to different settings for music versus podcasts. Switching between programs requires using the app, I couldn't find any way to quickly change the settings on the head unit. The app forces you to enter not just the name, but useless info like a description and genre. And saving changes in the app really sucks, because any minor change has to be saved as a whole new set of settings. You can tune it using the app, which is nice, but it's all done by hand and your own ear. There's no auto-tune option, as most o ther brands have. To get the camera just takes a few steps now, but why not allow it as a favorite? On the Pioneer all of this was customizable, and I could favorite things like showing the rear camera all the time when towing my trailer.
You can't remove junk from the screen like Pandora. The default startup display can be set to two options only neither of which is Carplay, which is all I use. They make a big deal about that, then it turns out you can only set a very tiny number of things as favorites. This unit is very limited in what you can set up, like favorites/shortcuts. This replaced an $800 Pioneer unit that was failing, and that one had so many more capabilities. The features and customizability are rather disappointing for something this expensive. It would be a fine $500 radio, but costs twice that much
